Living My dream

This is the first time for me as far as blogging is concerned so you'll have to be patient with me! But I was advised today by a very lovely friend of mine that I should start a blog by way of networking, meeting people and just plotting my creative progress!
I'm at a funny stage in my life having had lots of challenging things happen to me over the last 3 or so years (which during my blogging I will probably fill you in) and have decided to turn my life around and start living that dream I've been wishing for. Sadly I thought after a failed marraige (which I have three wonderful boys from), I had met the man of my dreams, as my girlfriends said 'he was my cardboard cut out'! Unfortunately the extended family was not for him or his career, so he opted out! So I find myself once again branching out on my own with my boys. This time I intend to do it differently and hopefully whoever I meet along the way will fall for the real me, the mother, the gardener, the business women I am about to become. You see, that's my dream, to combine all of my interests, passions and qualities and become a success, without using a credit card or a bank loan as I have an inbuilt fear of them. I'm not a great believer in the 'need to have today and worry about paying for it tomorrow' philosophy! You can't afford it you don't buy it!
Anyway, one of my many passions is gardening and I've come up with the idea of producing miniature vegetable plots. Giving the busy working families the opportunity to benefit to from home grown fruit and vegetables without having to have the time, space, energy or knowledge it usually requires. I work in a lovely primary school in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, where in the reception class we grow salad leaves, carrots, tomatoes and various other vegetables from seed in plastic raised beds on the concrete playground. The children love tending the plants and this week took a bag of lettuce home that they'd grown. I loved that and so did their parents.
This blog is going to be about my progress on developing my garden (albeit in a rented house, until I can afford one for the 4 of us). Learning new business skills to create a quality product I am proud of and creating the lifestyle for the boys and me I have always dreamed of!
I'm hoping to learn how to add photographs etc to the blog and pick up any tips along the way, so any help, advice or ideas would be fantastic!
